Once a Warrior steps between the gridiron lines, they are of one mind. They are determined to be their best self. Warriors play hard, motivate each other, and they win with humility. The true Warrior spirit isn't about winning or losing; it's about having fun in the battle. Warriors respect their teammate, the coach, and their opponents. Warriors don't quit! It's not in our nature.
Hobbies: Include school and pursuing a bachelor's degree in religion with a focus on evangelism. I enjoy playing fantasy football and am currently writing a Christian book.
Interesting Facts: I've driven across the country 3 times. I lived in Japan for a year and am a retired Marine.
Enjoy about coaching: I love challenging the kids to perform their best in hard moments. Teaching them to win or lose with humility, and seeing the smiles on their faces.
What inspired me to coach: I was able to coach a team while stationed in CA. During that time, I observed how other coaches treated some kids and did not like what I saw. It wasn't until after coaching my first season as a head coach, having finished the season 0-7, when the kids and parents thanked me and expressed how much fun they had playing, that I truly had a desire to coach.
How did I get involved with flag football? I played flag football on a joint Army and Marine team for the Naval base in CA. After that first season, I was hooked and joined a league in LA, playing in 5 leagues across CA.
